The King is dead, long live the King!
Last month brave Ariloners freed Snu from his miserable situation. The big bad deadly Blymoid was caught and eventually slain! It turned out that the old King was Snu's father, and since the Ariloners killed him, Snu became the new King. A grateful King Snu retreated to the Blymoid dungeons, but promised to build a friendly town there.
Orgas.
There are reports of increased Orga activity in the areas around Arilon and beyond. The reasons for this are yet unknown. Rumours can't decide between a possible new Orga leader, the start of an Orga breeding season (of which hardly any information can be found), a magenetically experiment by Merown or the side-effects of smoking to much Kudzu from eye witnesses.

Almost two weeks into commercial, and it looks like we're doing well! Dozens of people playing, fanatic fighters and hasty healers are running around from one rescue mission to the next. There have been invasions of Orga's, mice & rats, bats, vermine and yes, even a full-scale chicken invasion. Preparations for Zifers' lottery have again started and there are rumours of new bard-auditions. The world is filled with action and great initiatives! Update : About 20.00 hrs local time; small restart due to some Mage problems.

It was a great day. After years of developing, testing and preparing we finally started Arindal as a commercial game.
All accounts have been deleted, all characters erased, every counter set to zero. The new, commercial world differs slightly from the old world. We have rebalanced the races and town has been redesigned, to name the most important ones. Additionally we have introduced a demo-system, so people can try out Arindal! The demo system allows you to play for 30 days and a maximum of 100 ranks, but has several other limitations as well. We hope it gives people a nice impression of the game! |
